Welcome to the Prairie West Recreation District .
The mission of Prairie West Recreation District is to encourage and provide opportunities for people to experience leisure through the initiation of a public recreation program which shall include all aspects of recreation: physical, social, cultural, and artistic; all striving to meet the needs of the community.
Prairie West Recreation District consists of the Town of Virden, Village of Elkhorn, Town of Oak Lake, R.M of Woodworth, R.M. of Wallace and the R.M. of Sifton. It has many goals that it strives to meet and maintain.
10 week training program to run the 10 K on May 15 in Virden.
Cost $10, first meeting is Tuesday March 9, 7 PM VCI
